I appreciate locally grown, organic produce and want to ensure that it remains available by participating in the Appleby Community Farm (CSA) Program.
I understand that the farmers, Bryan and Cindy Pruett, pledge to do their best to provide the vegetables, fruits and herbs they propose at the times they estimate. However, as a shareholder in both the bounty and the risk, I understand that nature ultimately decides what I will receive and when I will receive it. I have read the refund policy (below) and understand there are no refunds after the CSA begins. However, if I find a replacement, I may sell or transfer my share to another party, with the approval of Appleby Community Farm.
Share Information:
Full share - $294.00/season **Target production 6-8lbs per week, feeds a family of 4 or a couple on a vegetarian diet.
Half share - $174.00/season **Target production 3-5lbs per weeks, feeds 1-2 persons adequately.

The season will likely span about 12 weeks during which you will receive a wide variety of our heirloom and other tasty vegetables. We anticipate the CSA will begin the beginning of March and go thru May, if you join after the start of the CSA, your payment will be pro-rated.
FAQ’s:
Do you split shares? Anyone splitting a share must do so on their own. We strive to provide an even quantity of products to facilitate proper division. Appleby Community Farm is not responsible for payment or distribution when a share is split between parties and will not be involved in disputes between parties splitting shares.
What if I miss a pick-up? We harvest your share on the pick up day. If you are unable to pick up your share, please contact us as soon as possible at 936-205-4821, to let us know who will come in your absence. If prior notice is not given about a missed picked up, it’s forfeited.
Refund policy: We do not offer refunds for shares, although we will accept transfers if you are unable to continue your seasonal subscription. However, you will be responsible in finding someone to buy out your share. Appleby Community Farm must be consulted before you sell your share and has final approval of the transfer of membership. In the unlikely event of dissolution of the CSA by the operators, refunds would be issued on a pro-rated basis within 60 days of date of dissolution.
